We would like to announce that the Interscalar I Systemic Operations
Istanbul workshop will take place 14-24 November 2008. The multiple
investigations within associative modeling and 1-1 prototyping aim to open
up multilevel resolutions in the psychiatric domain with a focus on the
redevelopment hospital site at Bakirkoy-Istanbul. The workshop will take
place both in Bakirkoy Psychiatric Hospital and the building center (YEM).
During the workshop, the participants are encouraged to use Rhino with
Grasshopper, and produce SLS rapid-prototyping and CNC prototyping models.

Félix Candela: Engineer, Builder, Structural Artist 是由 Princeton University Art Museum 与 Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering 合办的一个开创性的展览。

生于西班牙的 Felix Candela (1910-1997) 被认为是二十世界最伟大的结构艺术家之一，他创造性地使用双曲抛物面设计建造薄壳水泥屋顶结构。这个展览经由 Candela 的许多著名作品研究他的设计建造过程。

学生们使用 Rhino 重现 Felix Candela 的建筑设计，并以 Zcorp 打印机输出模型。

Round Building Reuse : 360 国际设计竞赛的宗旨是推销及保护佛罗里达的中世纪建筑。这个竞赛要求参赛者在佛罗里达奥兰多橘郡周围创造性地重新使用 Round Building 的预铸水泥板来做建筑设计。

Matthew Hutchinson 获得第二名的作品是全部以 Grasshopper 设计的。
